About

Social scientist who brings methodological rigor to practical information work. I hold a PhD in Sociology from the University of Arizona, MA from Boston College, and MLIS from Simmons University. My career includes mixed-methods research at Oracle Life Sciences, survey design at Pew Charitable Trusts, program evaluation at the National Resident Matching Program, and an engagement standardizing member satisfaction surveys for a large international nonprofit. Earlier, I designed and executed National Science Foundation funded research on college pathways and was part of a National Institutes of Health team studying community resilience at the University of Arizona, where I also taught undergraduate courses.Beyond data collection and analysis, I specialize in building research infrastructure: classification systems, documentation standards, AI-assisted analysis, dashboards, and stakeholder reports. This dual foundation produces analytically sound findings within a system built for long-term reuse.
